Daily Market Scan

After a brief sell of which saw market tocuhing 5001, the low of the day, Nifty took support at 50 DMA and bounced back. After a choppy trade in the 2nd half, Nifty ended in positive note. Nifty shut shop at 5042 (+0.18%). Telecom and IT Sector lead the gains in the Nifty.

• Idea(+3.98%), Tata Motors(+3.38%), M&M(+3.35%), Bharati Airtel(+3.25%) and Gail (+2.61%)were the top gainers in the Nifty Stocks.
• Axis Bank(-2.37%), JP Associat(-1.87%), SBI(-1.28%), BPCL(-0.97%) and Cipla(-0.94%) were the top losers in Nifty Stocks
• Advance : Decline in Nifty Stocks is 30:20
• Index Options PCR is at 1.14
• India VIX has decreased 3.39% to 27.36
• FII's were net sellers in cash market with equities worth Rs. 355 Cr
• DII's were net buyers in the cash market with equities worth Rs. 274 Cr
• Nifty Call options has added 13.40 lakh contracts in OI, while Put options has added 6.40 lakh contracts in OI
