Nifty opened in positive note and briefly touching 5030 levels, it saw sharp sell off. Eventhough it seemed like market is haeding for a deep fall after touching the 20 DMA it saw a sharp bounce back and closed in green. Nifty closed 24 points higher at 5027.
- Hindalco(6.44%), Reliance Infra(5.38%), HUL(4.85%), ITC(3.86%) and BHEL(3.66%) were the top gainers among the Nifty stocks
- Bharti Airtel(10.76%), RCOM(10.61%), IDEA(8.02%), HCLTech(5.34%) and Ambuja Cem(3.03%) were the top losers
- Index Options PCR is at 1.32
- 4900 put options had added 4.21 lakh contracts in OI
- India VIX is at 27.75
