Nifty opened positive and was dominated by bulls throughout the day. Finally Nifty shut shop after gaining 77(1.54%) points at 5083.95. The rally was led by banking and automobile sector
- SBI(5.74%), Axis Bank(5.51%), ICICI BANK(4.46%), Maruti(4.3%) and M&M(4.10%) were the top gainers in Nifty stocks
- ONGC(1.90%), IDEA(1.18%), GAIL(1.10%), SUZLON(0.97%) and Power Grid(0.95%) were the top loosers among the Nifty stocks
- FII's and DII's were net buyers in the cash market with equities worth Rs 1074 Cr and Rs 159 Cr respectively
- India VIX has decreased to 25.27
- Index Options PCR is at 1.31
- PE 5000 put options had added 14.62 Lakh contracts in OI
- CE 5100 call options has shed 8.23 lakh contracts in OI
